Announcing New DHTMLX Demo: Gantt with Resource Management for Salesforce

Salesforce continues to be one of the leading and popular vendors of various CRM services, including the development platform, where dev teams can deliver their web apps using the LWC model. We have been carefully tracking the demand for using our products in the Salesforce environment and adding useful materials to facilitate the process.

Today, we are happy to present a new demo that shows an example of a DHTMLX-based Gantt chart in Salesforce with a resource panel.

Resource management is one of the most demanded features of DHTMLX Gantt that should become a welcome addition to Salesforce. Those who use our Gantt component now can add a resource panel to their project workflows.

In our previous demo, we showed you how to create a basic Gantt chart with tasks and links. The new demo complements these Gantt elements with resources and resource assignments.

Technically, it is done by creating four Salesforce custom objects that will receive corresponding Gantt data i.e. tasks, links, resources, and resource assignments. As a result, our demos help create an editable Gantt chart in Salesforce apps that will allow planning project activities and visualizing resource allocation.

We’ll continue monitoring the needs of our clients associated with the use of DHTMLX products in Salesforce and try to add more useful materials on the topic.
