We would like to announce the release of version 3.0 of the scheduler plugins for WordPress and Joomla!. This release adds some popular features available in dhtmlxScheduler 3.0, such as Map View, Week Agenda View, graggable event details form, and other noticeable enhancements.
Map View
The scheduler WordPress and Joomla! plugins now support integration with Google Maps and allow you to display locations for your events. You can switch on the Map View in the admin panel of the plugin.

Event Calendar Plugin - Map View
Week Agenda View
The plugins now support an Outlook-like way to display the agenda in a Week View. This is a great way to show the list of the previous and upcoming events week by week.

Google Calendar Export/Import
Version 3.0 of the calendar plugins offers a simple way to export events to/from Google Calendar. We’ve added an additional panel where you can configure the access to your Google Calendar and export or import events to/from the scheduler plugin.

Event Calendar Plugin - Export to/from Google Calendar
Print to PDF and Export to iCal Buttons
We have also added a simple way to export the event calendar to PDF and iCal formats. You can add the export buttons through the admin panel and allow the user to export the calendar with a single click. It’s very convenient if you need to print the calendar or share it with the applications that support iCal format.
Skin Customization
In the previous version of the scheduler plugin, you needed to use the online Skin Builder to customize the skin colors of the calendar. Now you can do it right in the admin panel. We have added a simple tool that allows you to choose from the list of predefined skins or define custom colors for your calendar.

Other Improvement
The update also includes a number of small enhancements such as current time indicator, support of full day event, the ability to show the name of the event creator, and extended Timeline View.

Comments
Hi,
looks like the zip “Plugin for Joomla! v.3.0” is broken – only the install.xml is included.
Michael, we’ve uploaded an updated package for Joomla! plugin. Please try to download it once again:
http://www.dhtmlx.com/x/download/regular/joomla_com_scheduler.zip
Ivan, thanks – I’ll give it a try now.
Great !!
Looks nice, lots of new features to try and use.
Thanks.
Alfred
First i would like to say this is a really really good plugin. great work. I was wondering if your team was going to add more plugins/modules for joomla like the data view and gantt chart?
David, thank you for your kind words. We have one more plugin for Joomla! – dhtmlxSpreadsheet, you can download it here:
http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs/products/dhtmlxSpreadsheet/index.shtml
As for the data view and gantt chart, unfortunately we do not plan to release such plugins in the near future.
Trying to configure the Scheduler 3.0
keep getting
Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in

I’ve loaded the 3.0 Plugin for WordPress – the specs look really great – but unfortunately a lot of the texts in the admin backend are not output. For example the Settings dialog – a few input fields and lots of checkboxes but all without any text to say what they do. I thought this would be a translation problem and briefly switched my WordPress from German to (default) English, but the result was the same (except the texts which do show were then english). Any ideas much appreciated!
Tim, please try to clear your browser cache. It may load old-fashioned translation file which doesn’t include the latest phrases.
Hallo Ivan,
thanks for the tip but no, this was not the problem. I’m an internet programmer myself and often work with browser cache off, and anyway I only ever loaded this version of the plugin. admin_de.js is being loaded with the correct content (checked in FireBug). But FireBug also shows me that the missing labels contain code like this:
Is that maybe the problem – should not the locale attribute be “de” or “de_DE”?
Cheers, Tim
Er well, the code got stripped, understandably. What’s happening is that the locale attribute of the label tags contains “width” if the for attribute is “settings_width”, or “height” if for is “settings_height”, locale=”day” for=”settings_day” and so on.

Hi, I am having trouble loading the Scheduler Joomla plugin. I have submitted this issue to the forum and I am not getting any responses. I am not sure what to do at this time. Simply put, I am using Joomla 2.5 and I have installed joomla_com_scheduler_v30_120425.zip successfully. However, when I hit the save button in the back end I get the message “There was error during configuration saving. Last stable configuration restored. Error report saved to “com_scheduler_log.xml”. Also, I cannot see anything on the Access Rights tab on the back end. Is there some other software that I needed to load in conjunction with this plugin? Are there some database file access rights that I need to set? Anyway, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Louver
Could I PLEASE get some help or at least a response? I like your Joomla component and based on what others have to say, the install is straight forward and should work well. However I cannot get it to work and this leaves me to believe that it is not as others say it is – or your support is non-exsitent. I am, so far, very disappointed.

Hi
Is there a way we can attach any files when creating meeting schedule ? I have been using this component for more than a year and I dont find that feature.
Are we getting in anytime soon ?
Adam, unfortunately the scheduler plugin doesn’t provide such an ability out-of-the-box. And we don’t plan to add this feature in the near future.
The Joomla plugin I see is for joomla V1.5
We are now on Joomla V3.3, and 1.5 is no longer supported.
Is there an updated plugin somewhere?
Paul, unfortunately we do not develop the Joomla plugin for dhtmlxScheduler anymore. You can find the latest available version on the GitHub:

I want to work with this extension, I´m working in joomla 3.x and think that doesn´t exist a version for joomla 3, do you know if there are a dhtmlx for that??
There is no official updates of Joomla plugin. Please check this forum post: https://forum.dhtmlx.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=27890&start=0
