Hello everyone and welcome to the second maintenance update from the DHTMLX team in April. This time, we are excited to present two portions of fixes and improvements for our product – JavaScript Gantt component. It will be not out of place to mention here the recent release of DHTMLX React Gantt designed specifically for modern React-based project management apps. Especially since the novelties provided in these patch releases will be applicable for both JavaScript and React versions of our Gantt. Check out the details below.
DHTMLX Gantt 9.0.9 – 9.0.10
9.0.9 (April 16, 2025)
- The issue where mouse wheel zooming stopped working after calling the resetLayout() method (Fixed)
- The issue where the Quick Info popup appeared after clicking the expand/collapse button in the Timeline or Grid views (Fixed)
- The error that occurred when destroying Gantt without initializing the grid view (Fixed)
- The error that occurred when when loading a task with a non-existent parent while the Undo extension is enabled (Fixed)
- The issue where the click_drag extension did not function on touch devices (Fixed)
- Improve grid scrolling responsiveness on touch devices (Done)
This release is also notable for a pack of samples for our new React Gantt added to the Commercial, Enterprise, Ultimate, and Evaluation packages of DHTMLX Gantt. You can also get acquainted with the main strengths of our React Gantt in the release article.
9.0.10 (April 22, 2025)
- The issue preventing changes to the parent field value in the Lightbox (Fixed)
- Excessive scroll speed when using a mouse wheel in Firefox 88 and newer (Fixed)
- Inability to drag project tasks when a subtask is unscheduled and lacks date parameters (Fixed)
- Ensure gantt.render() is not called unexpectedly during the gantt.silent operation when using the open() or close() methods (Done)
- The issue where project tasks are not repainted if the onBeforeTaskChanged event returns false (Fixed)
- Ensure that task progress bars span the full width of the task when expected (Done)
- Remove invalid WAI-ARIA attributes from read-only task links to improve accessibility (Done)
- The issue where task bar resizers do not adapt to changes in task bar height (Fixed)
