Welcome to the latest set of DHTMLX maintenance releases. In October, we prepared a range of valuable fixes and improvements for DHTMLX Gantt, Suite, and RichText Editor to improve your coding experience with these JavaScript components. Check out the details below.
DHTMLX Gantt 7.1.7
7.1.7 (October 23, 2021)
- Issues with incorrect calculation of the total slack values (Fixed)
- Performance improvement for total slack calculation (Done)
- Style fixes for the lightbox in the Material skin (Done)
- The issue with the Zoom plugin that prevented the zoom.init method from working when calling the method after gantt.init (Fixed)
- The script error that happened when using the inherit_calendar config together with the gantt.groupBy method (Fixed)
- The script error is thrown when adding tasks via gantt.batchUpdate if the placeholder task is active (Fixed)
- The issue that allowed the placeholder task to be sorted, reordered, or accept subtasks (Fixed)
- Issues with incorrect size of grid columns (Fixed)
- The incorrect work of the column’s resizers conflicted with the reordering of the columns (Fixed)

DHTMLX Suite 7.2.4 – 7.2.5
7.2.4 (October 13, 2021)
- DataCollection: now the save() method of DataCollection sends PUT request to the backend after adding new data to the component and POST one after editing the data (Done)
- Form. Combo control: the issue which caused errors to appear in the console after calling the setProperties() method of the control (Fixed)
- Form: the issue which caused the send() method to accept only one success HTTP status code which is 200. Now the method can accept other 2xx codes. (Fixed)
- Form. TimePicker control: the issue which caused the value of the control not being updated after the value is selected in the timepicker when working in Firefox (Fixed)
- Grid: issues with touch events for the in-header filters of the Grid columns (Fixed)
- Grid: the incorrect work of key navigation in the components when they are attached into the grid which is attached into a layout cell (Fixed)
- Grid: the issue which caused key navigation to be broken after the setColumns() method is called in the grid with empty columns (Fixed)
- Grid: the issue which caused the width of the columns not being updated when using the setColumns() method (Fixed)
- Grid: the issue with filtering the grid via the combo filter when the autoEmptyRow configuration property of Grid is set to true (Fixed)
- TreeGrid: incorrect display of an icon of a treegrid row after adding a child row and then deleting it. Now the $items property of the TreeGridCollection object is updated after deleting all child items. (Fixed)
7.2.5 (October 28, 2021)
- Form. Timepicker control: the issue with setting the time in the timepicker using the keyboard (Fixed)
- Grid, TreeGrid: now the value of the option will be displayed both in the editor and a cell if the options of the “combobox” and “select” editors are set as an array of objects with the id-value combinations (Done)
- Grid, TreeGrid: now the width of the column is calculated depending on the following properties: minWidth/ maxWidth, adjust, and autoWidth (Done)
- Grid, TreeGrid: now there is the ability to set the options of the “select” editor of a cell as an array of objects with the id-value combinations (Done)
- Grid: the issue which caused the method of dragging a column to be called after clicking the in-header filter of a column (in Firefox only) (Fixed)
- Grid: the issue with incorrect calculation of the height of the grid header when the autoHeight property is enabled (Fixed)
- Grid: the issue with key navigation when working with several grids (Fixed)
- Grid: the issue with the autoWidth property which caused the minimal width of the column not being taken into account when calculating the column’s width (Fixed)
- Grid. TreeGrid: the issue which caused data of the treegrid to be changed after filtering and dragging a column/row (Fixed)

RichText Editor 1.1.3
1.1.3 (October 11, 2021)
- The issue with the serialization of the content is in the “Markdown” format. Now the spaces are removed before and after the stylized string (Fixed)
- The issue with styles of Richtext when using it together with Suite (Fixed)
- Now it is possible to localize the text and link input labels of the Link button of the toolbar (Done)

We are also happy to announce that dhtmlxScheduler.NET has been updated to version 4.0.3. The JavaScript core library of this component has been updated to the latest bugfix version (v5.3.12). The new build supports keys for new licenses, introduced October 9, 2021. You can install the latest dhtmlxScheduler.NET from our website or from NuGet.
