dhtmlxWindows is a JavaScript control that enables developers to build cross-browser popup windows. The component mimics the behaviour of operating system dialogs and provides all common functionality which is available in desktop environment: windows can be closed, minimized, maximized, resized, put on top, dragged, etc.

The content within a window can be populated from an external link, or you can attach any object from a web page. With detaching capabilities objects can be removed very easily from a window container. dhtmlxWindows component also provides a single command integration methods for other DHTMLX components: grid, treegrid, tree, accordion, layout, menu, etc.

With this JavaScript windows component you can implement modal or non-modal dialogs, which can be grouped or displayed individually. Just like regular dialog boxes, dhtmlxWindows have various buttons which allow end-users to interact with windows; any custom buttons can be added to the component. Rich JavaScript API provides the possibility to control all windows' attributes and customize each aspect of look and behaviour of the dialog boxes.

As the component comes with different skins, it can be easily customized to match the design of any web application or site. New skin which was added in v2.5 for all dhtmlx components gives a nice slick look to dhtmlxWindows as well. Updated windows engine let the component work faster and offers better performance.

Commercial License* includes dhtmlxWindows Standard Edition and allows you to use it in one project (application) with unlimited number of copies. According to this license we provide you with support (consultations) and free-of-charge bug fixing during 1 month. This license costs $49.

Enterprise License* includes dhtmlxWindows Standard Edition and allows you to use it in unlimited number of projects on condition that all of them are projects of one company. Free support\upgrade period is 12 months. This license costs $99.
